Saw TONS of wildlife on the trip. Flooded with fearless wallababies and kangaroos. The platypus was a little tricky- you have to be very quiet. The red belly blacks were calm beauties that graced us with their presence. It was also the first time my friends and I had seen a wild emu! Very enjoyable and beautiful

Beautiful! We did the Peppermint trail. Saw loads of wild life. Perfect trail with little kids in tow. It took about an hour. We liked it so much, it is worth getting an annual pass. There is a pretty cool and amazing children's playground.

The most wonderful national park. Every trail offers something different. Around every corner of a winding track, something new can be discovered: the cascading streams and rivers, the large boulders and rocks, the, what seems, untouched forests, and the wildlife. All trails are well maintained, signage is well done and all maps state the level of physical fitness (light, moderate, hard) that can be expected when walking the track. The Sanctuary is also must when visiting Tidbinbilla. Very easy parking, and good access for wheelchairs and strollers. It is also very educational for adults and children alike. I can highly recommend it to anybody.

The visitor centre staff were really helpful. Not only did they recommend excellent walking trails, but helped me start the car when it wouldn't start in the parking lot. Gibraltar Rocks were interesting to see.

Great nature reserve not too far from Canberra, huge number of walks to appreciate along with a huge variety of wildlife. The visitor centre can give you a map for a range of routes ranging from the short (about half an hour) to to the really long, as well as ideas about where to find the animals you most want to see
