Beautiful little centre full on information and great staff. Interesting books on the area and about Australia. Useful maps to purchase. Useful things to buy for little day hikes. I've always wanted to do the hike that starts there and ends in Victoria. It's my dream and I'm sure this little centre will help.

The visitor centre has toilets. It sells water and other drinks, crisps and snacks. There is a small exhibition. I did not see a way to fill my water bottle for free, but didn't ask - the toilets have "do not drink" signs next to the taps. Several bushwalking paths start from the visitor centre, but most of them cross the road a little further on, where there is also parking. So it is better to drive slightly past the visitor centre and start the walk from there.

Beautiful little park. You can choose from a range of walks including a 1-2 hour one (halfway up mount tennant, to the lookout that can been see in these photos where there is a timber bench seat next to a large boulder), which boasts excellent views with minimal effort. And then you can do mount tennant which might take most of your day, and this one boasts even more spectacular views, but take water and food! Staff at the centre are very knowledgable, and there are a few maps you can choose from on site.
