I would give Bayswater Officeworks 100 stars if I could. I phoned today from New Zealand as I had colleagues in Australia that were needing some documents done but they were unable to organise themselves. Lachie and Sam went above and beyond to help me and they worked really hard to achieve a fabulous result. Their communication was great. What a fabulous team. Thank you
I was in the area for another store I had driven an hour to visit and decided to stop in. I needed to purchase art supplies for College and was surprised to find a good range. I found a lot of what I needed plus a few extras. There was a staff member to help when I couldn't locate an item. It was worth the visit.
Waiting in line as only 1 server so was looking at something next to the line. Pushy customer asked if I was in line said yes, she backed off. Being served, then said customer walks past and not addressing anyone in particular said any self serve registers, told no and said something under her breath. Girl on register was putting things thru as fast as she could.
I have very little knowledge of computers and accessories. I wanted a printer and had no idea what I wanted or what I wanted to spend. Ravi approached me as I was obviously lost. He patiently explained the difference between different printers and their capacity and also the different replacement cartridges and toners and the costs. I was very grateful and will certainly look for him if I’m an ever wanting anymore tech purchases. Thanks Ravi.
I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Officeworks Bayswater on the 19th of October in the late afternoon. I was waiting for assistance in the computer section when the staff member, who appeared to be of Indian background, was already helping another customer. After answering the customer’s questions, they proceeded to have a lengthy, completely unrelated casual chat for about 10 minutes, even though it was clear I was waiting for help.nnI eventually walked away to check on something else, hoping to return for assistance. When I came back, the staff member was gone. I asked another staff member for help, who kindly paged the computer section employee via the intercom. When the same computer section staff member returned from the back of the store, he immediately started helping another customer, once again ignoring me entirely.nnI wasted a totla of 30 minutes of my time waiting for basic service. Absolutely unacceptable. Officeworks really needs to work on their customer service training—respecting customers' time should be a top priority.
