Ordered balloons here recently. Very disappointed. Have bought helium balloons many times before from spotlight stores and other companies and these were the worst. I payed for the special gel as I needed the balloons to last 24 hours and some didn’t last through the night and the rest were all gone by before the party. They were in a cool room, no direct sunlight, breeze etc. Previous balloon purchases have lasted days.
Awesome range of items, but give yourself plenty of time to browse because it's huge! There are so many things you didn't know you needed until you see them, so maybe put a little more aside in the budget. I would have given 5 stars, but the floor staff I spoke to didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about where specific items were located in the store. Overall, this is the best spotlight I've been to, though, and I highly recommend it.
I wne tin to purchase a smeg kettle and toaster, as there is a sale on at the moment, they didn't have the colour I wanted in stock. However the team there were quick to act and advised that another nearby store had stock. 10 out of 10 service and friendliness. I have been there previously and got great advise about all sorts of appliances. The staff care about the customer and what is right for you.
My wife was angry at me because my rough feet ripped a hole in our quilt cover. I was delighted when I stepped into Spotlight Bayswater and saw the huge range of bed sheets and linen. I picked up a set that will make our bedroom look like a 5 star hotel. I was able to wrap it and even make it a Christmas present for my wife. I can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning when she sees santa got her a sweet set of sheets. The lady at the checkout even helped me find the bar code as I was struggling to find it hidden under a roll in the package. Just give yourself plenty of time to browse. Great work all round.
Easy to find what you want.... BUT you are encouraged to work for them at the checkout by using self service and when you say no thank you I wish to be checked out by a human well you are treated like a third class citizen!
