Had a colonoscopy earlier today and have nothing but praise for all the staff at Noarlunga hospital. From admission,where you’re treated with dignity and a wee touch of humour which helps allay any apprehension. Kept well informed about the procedure including anaesthesia. Recovery was really well done to with knowledgeable answers to questions on”how it went” to a really welcome coffee and a sandwich. Well done all you guys and girls,much appreciated.n

Thank you so much to all the staff at Noarlunga hospital. My boyfriend took me in Thursday morning with severe dehydration from an illness that took a turn for the worst, despite keeping up my fluids at home. Reception/Admin were lovely, and all the Nurses were quick to check on me. Nurse Caitlin took care of me for the day, a huge thanks to her for being so kind, gentle, and professional, as well as the Dr. After two IV bags - I was well on the mend. Although, I did have a reaction to buscopan increased heart rate and blurry vision Though it was nothing to worry about, it can happen to some people. At the time though, the Dr didn't think it was a reaction, however this was definitely a side effect. Maybe just something to keep in mind, as I'm sure it happens to others. The nurse helped calm me down. For someone who is scared of hospital, and has a phobia of blood, and needles - you guys were all so accommodating and patient, and gentle with me. Appreciate everything you all do!

Absolutely awful experience here. I understand on a personal level that our medical staff are under extra pressure at the moment but the treatment I received here was just inexcusable. After arriving in ambulatory with an extremely painful disk injury to my spine, my pain relief inhaler from SA Ambulance had ran out. I was left in the worst pain I have yet experienced in my life for about an hour possibly longer and had no access to a call button to ask the nurse for help and nurses were clearly unable to hear me over other patients/noises. I was unable to mobilise myself at all at the time due to severe pain in back. After putting myself in extreme pain to twist my torso around and do so, I was able to press what I thought was a call for help button but turned out to be an emergency button!! which resulted in a doctor and a couple of nurses coming in which is when I was able to ask for pain medication and help to which the nurse was extremely vague and told me i have to wait for the doctor to see me before I can receive any pain relief which was extremely upsetting for me as I felt in despair being told that. I was seen by a doctor later on and the rest of my stay was equally as sad for me as the pain management I received was still only mildly effective taking only the edge off of the pain I was feeling. I was discharged relatively quickly with a script for pain relief which is lacking extremely in helping my pain and I am unable to move my body, roll over, breathe deeply and certainly cannot sleep. I called the ED clerk to explain my situation and she was very rude to me despite me being respectful with my conversation with her. She pretty much told me to get lost. I am absolutely devastated with my treatment here but thankful to the nurses who were indeed friendly and supportive. I hope other people have a better experience than I did.

Today I had my first visit as a patient at Noarlunga Hospital for a day procedure. A huge thank you to ALL the staff - clerical, admittance, theatre and surgical for the love, care and attention shown to me. I'm happy to say my results were good. If necessary and I need to attend Noarlunga Hospital in the future,  I will certainly be more than happy to attend. THANK YOU.

To the security,  doctors, nurses , staff members, you are second to none. I have attended Noarlunga Hospital EMERGENCYnon a few occasions for my children  and for myself and can not tell younenough how considerate, patient caring and professional you all are.
