Incompetent and unprofessional staff. Particularly a fat little chindo piggy by the name of Andre. A trainee staff member forgot to check my mum's and grandma's passport validity before issuing tickets. If we are using an agent then it's their responsibility to check prior to issuing tickets. The onus and due diligence is on them. No offer to rectify the issue and the insipid loser Andre just laugh in my mum's face. Also lied to me over the phone because he was too lazy to follow up with Garuda. Told me the airline was closed and nothing he could do. I called them after our conversation and they were open.
I have been purchasing my tickets for 14 years and this place has never ceased amazed me with their service. Incredibly helpful! Incredibly patience! What could I ask for more! Easily top rated agency in NSW if not in Australia

The best and fastest service, the best price for traveling to-from indonesia. The staff is very helpfull, patiently check day by day to find the best price. Staff have a good communicatin skill, speak in polite/good manner. Once i hang up the phone, i receive confirmation booking immediately. I have been using their service for years, never had bad experience
Beware: changes to the flight schedule will not be clearly communicated to customers and can cause missed flight. Big minus in their customer service experience due to unclear communication only in email & text.
Best travel agent in Sydney. Best customer service. Hendra, Niken and others always looking after their customers. Even simple just asking for quote, they always listen and explain it all.
Netfare has the WORST level of customer service, with staff who are extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST, DISMISSIVE and completely unwilling or incapable of providing the simplest courtesy to their customers. Niken was extremely IMPATIENT, RUDE, DISINTERESTED and continued to interrupt the conversation. She either didn't want to understand the request or she was simply just TOO LAZY to provide 2 quotes. On asking to speak to her manager, she became DEFENSIVE, DISRESPECTFUL and DISMISSIVE - claiming that customers weren't 'ALLOWED' to speak to the manager SERIOUSLY?!. I was then transferred to her colleague Taupan who was already prejudiced by Niken. He was INDIFFERENT, CONDESCENDING and UNWILLING to help - choosing instead to declare complete IGNORANCE by claiming 'they' did not know who their manager's name is and that Netfare did not have a complaints handling process REALLY?!. Taupan further claimed that they were not in a business of service but that they were a Travel Agent WTH?! This is my first and last time I take my business to Netfare and I would be recommending everyone to go elsewhere. Based on the review comments from others, negative service experience and rudeness of staff have been consistently portrayed. I would also have rated them with a negative score but the option is not available and so I was forced to rate them with the lowest score there is so that this review can be posted. Lastly - if the manager or owner has any propriety, decency or concern that their staff are directly and negatively affecting their business reputation & bottom line, they would want to fix their staff as a matter of priority otherwise, customers BEWARE - when there's a concern or an issue, Netfare would not be capable or willing to assist and you would have NO recourse for a resolution.

My family were unable to travel together when we found out kids had invalid passports and had to be in Jakarta in 3 days time for a wedding. Even though passport is travellers responsibility, Netfare should do the common courtesy and check passports to ensure validity like other agents do. Giving 2-star because the whole experience ended up extremely distressing. A simple check by the agent could have prevented all this. Netfare staff showed little help in our situation and unable to offer alternative routes. Just don't count on them when travel plans go into disarray.
