Story

Natural History takes inspiration and reference from epic museums of the world and is split with two offerings, Natural History Bar and Grill, and the street front café, Natural History Café.

The 350-seat classic big-city style bar and grill, is in the manner of NYC style bistros with a touch of Southern American influence, and sees head chef Morgan McGlone of Belles Hot Chicken, in the kitchen, drawing inspiration from such bistros, showcasing southern style bar and grill classic dishes.

Deeeeelicious! The food's truly amazing here. Especially the vegetarian gnocchi. There were seven of us for dinner and the food and customer service was exceptional. The waiters were attentive and anticipated our needs. Chefs Morgan and Trish truly know how to dish up mouth watering food! They're so talented. It's the new hip and happening restaurant in Melbourne and I can see why.

Great set up. We had the rib eye to share and the taste was delicious charcoal that goes so well with red meat done well. Their take on the wine list is quite unique and very interesting. Would recommend. Dont forget to study the taxidermy along the wall

Very nice environment and decor. Food was delicious (gnocchi and cauliflower) with perfect balance of flavours and textures. The raspberry with verbena ice cream was AMAZING! Will come back for sure. Super friendly staff!

Went there to meet a friend behind the bar. Loved the place! All the staff were as friendly and as polite as Taylor. The food was great! Great venue. Thanks Taylor, see you again very soon.

4.5 stars. Go for the unqie decor, amazing meat dishes, and special wine list. Staff are friendly and keen to impress. Only marked down a little as I'd like some more options on the food menu.
