Had the best experience today at castle hill MYER, Lucas and working in the men’s footwear section is the kind of employee that restores your faith in humanity a little bit, very humble, well spoken and eager to help. MYER and all other company’s could benefit from having employees like Lucas! Thanks again!
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Myer Castle Hill. One of the staff, her name is BIBI in the beauty section were not only dismissive but also alarmingly uninformed about their own products and promotions. The sign clearly stated ‘50% off further,’ yet the staff brushed it off, claiming, ‘It’s already reduced from the original price But its not. This is not my fault, I’m just a casual,’ followed by the dismissive remark, ‘It’s just $30 anyway.’nnIf you’re going to work in retail—even as a casual—the bare minimum is understanding the promotions and treating customers with basic respect. Excusing incompetence with ‘I’m just a casual’ isn’t just unprofessional; it’s unacceptable.nnLooking down on customers is a bold choice, especially when you have no idea who they are or how often they shop there. But congratulations—you’ve just lost a loyal one.nnI expected professionalism and competence, but instead, I encountered arrogance and ignorance. Safe to say, I won’t be returning.
Store opens 9am and we got there 9:20 to buy school shoes. There was no one working on the shoe counter. We tried to measure the shoes ourselves and someone from another department tried to help but their capacity was limited. End result, we came home with shoes what were extra wide, which is not appropriate given my child has a narrow foot. Managment is failing to promote an appropriate level of customer service in store.
Having moved from a small regional area, with very limited shopping options to the Hills area, I visited Myers’s Castle Towers to buy a jacket. I could not believe how large the Women’s Clothing section was & didn’t know where to start looking. Fortunately a shop assistant called Jas was able to direct me away from teenage & younger styles, & another assistant, Jen in that department , also helped with suggestions that were suitable. I really appreciated the friendliness & advice from this sales team & I was able to find what I needed & saved a lot of time. I look forward to my next visit to Myer.
My wife experienced horrendous customer service from JOYCE at the women’s department in Castle Towers. We wanted to purchase a pair of pants but it had the front button missing. So Joyce advised us to order it online, which we did at the counter.nnFast forward a week and when my wife opened her package, the SAME pants with the missing button was delivered! Upon taking it back to Joyce, there was no apology or empathy. She even refused to refund it for us and instead ordered us to the level below to do this. This is why Myers’ reputation is down in the dumps with staff like this
