Mount Pleasant Luxury Accommodation is an unexpected mixture of casual rural life and modern amenities. I could almost hear the echoes of its past life as the farm’s homestead, yet it has managed to slip into modern times with ease and style. While fitted out with all the mod-cons – espresso machine, full laundry, surround sound, cable television – I’m certain that many of the items of furniture around the house were originals, restored to new glory. There was an agreeable personal touch about the place and attention to detail. Tasty, individually chosen breakfast items were waiting in the well-stocked frig when we arrived. I also appreciated that the house was fully self-contained, sitting quietly on its own, affording privacy, yet the owners were just across the way if we had required any assistance or advice. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m traveling near Wangaratta.

Thank you for the wonderful experience that Mount Pleasant offers, the luxury self-contained accommodation was perfect for our getaway. It truly was a magical experience with the luxury of the double corner spa, LCD TV, espresso coffee machine, very comfortable queen sized beds, fantastic service, the list just goes on. To top this all off we had the experience of staying on a working cattle farm & the views are uniquely amazing! What a great escape it was from the hustle and bustle of the city! Mount Pleasant truly is the best luxury accommodation in Wangaratta I will certainly recommend to friends. Thank you for sharing it.

Pleasantly Tranquil, Pleasantly Surprised and Pleasantly Sophisticated! Our Stay at Mount Pleasant was everything and more. Ruth your elegant touches are of a very high standard, your warmth, hospitality and friendliness made our stay a memorable one. We had everything at our fingertips, yet we had the space, the scenery and remoteness to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Four of us stayed for a week at Mount Pleasant Homestead, and were unable to fault it in any way. It was extremely clean with every facility you could want, and the breakfast provisions were excellent and the fridge was restocked on a regular basis. We come to Australia from the UK every year and this, by a long way, the best self-contained accommodation we have enjoyed. Many thanks for all you did to make our stay so pleasant. Tim and Gill
