Only about 150 metres from the main road through Wangaratta, this place is worth the visit. Lovely to be in a pub with no pokies, charming interior, good beer and cider, good meals. Agree with one reviewer that if you don't like fried or eat steak then not much for you. They are very obliging and make good salads so I'm sure that they would make up a big one. They adjusted for an ingredient we couldn't have.

Good meal and great vibe. It had a very eclectic style, antique shop meets theatre. Decent prices and nice food, good for large groups!

Sunday lunch, early, restaurant quiet. One barman for the first 20 minutes, being kept busy by the drinkers at the C public bar, but attended to our requests in between. Another man arrived to help and took our lunch order. We both had curry which was satisfactory but not brilliant. We chose that because we had to catch a teain and thought that it would not take long to cook or eat. The restaurant was quite dark for a sunny day so we took our meals out into the garden which was lovely. Would go there again but probably not choose the curry. The lamb cutlets looked very good

Nice country family friendly pub with loads of atmosphere. Huge beer garden with covered deck. Best pub for miles.

Dined at the vine with extended family, unique classic bush styling and no fancy/la di da meals, perfect place for a feed. You know what you are going to order will be as expected and the service was great. Atmosphere was also terrific where the proprietor has tried to keep its original interior and exterior.
