I was charged $120 by WOTIF but wouldn’t pay more than $60 a night to stay here and cannot see how it is rated 3 stars.nThe room smelled mouldy as there was no ventilation. Air Con unit made noise so turned off. We spent most of the night walking and driving around town as room so uncomfortable.nBathroom tiny and the only source of drinking water was bathroom sink. The Position of the shower rose made shower a challenge.nThe TV didn’t work despite advertising that all FOXTEL channels available. No internet password provided. Bar fridge motor squeaked. Not sure if electrical wiring iwas safe??
It is what it is. A relatively cheap roadside motel with a clean bed and somewhere to sleep. This is nothing fancy, and you wouldn't want to stay more than a couple of nights, but the bed was clean & comfortable, shower had decent water pressure, there were extra blankets as it was quite cold, and at night it was super quiet.nnDidn't want to look too closely at the carpet or the walls and it was overall pretty dingy but fine for what we needed it to be.
Service was welcoming & friendly. Mid-week non-holiday-season tariff was inexpensive. Room was comfortable with basic but adequate fittings & facilities. Good TV, small fridge. Aircon installed but I didn't use it late Autumn but room was warm. Bed had coin-operated massage feature but I didn’t test it. What is its future anyway, with the trend to cashless?nI have one serious complaint - Room 2 room stank of tobacco smoke, or maybe from vapeing. I was able to cope with it and sleep OK, but many people would find it intolerable.
Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great spot for a stopover.
Have stayed at this motel a number of times over the years. Always found the rooms to be adequate and clean, and bed comfortable. There was a microwave, kettle, toaster and TV in the room I stayed in last night.
