Just spent a week here, and I would recommend it to anyone. The hosts are friendly & easy going. The rooms may be dated due to the exposed brick design, but they are kept in tip-top condition, and they are very clean. It was very quiet, despite being on the main road too. We found the apartment perfect for 5 people in our family. We stayed with a group of friends in a vintage car club, who we do an annual trip with, and it's one of the best places we've stayed. Everyone had a great experience.
Roger and Janine are absolutely lovely hosts. So friendly and happy to have a chat. The rooms are maintained to a high standard for cleanliness and have all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment rooms are perfect for families and a very valuable asset to the area.nPossibly the kids favourite part of our 2 night stay though was getting lots of pats and cuddles with Millie and catching a glimpse of the beautiful Oreo. It's such a welcoming feeling to be met by not only friendly, smiling hosts but to be also met by a cuddly, friendly cat.nWe will definitely choose Park View again when we are in the area next time.
Very clean and spacious rooms. Great location, very quiet, looking over beautiful parkland. Comfy bed, and understanding staff allowed me to check-in early as I was attending a funeral. Would definitely stay again.
Our stay at Parkview was amazing! We visited reception often and we were greeted by Millie the cat! My son absolutely loved her. The position is right next to the park, the rooms were clean and had all the essentials. Yes it’s dated but it’s a good price for a weekend stay! The personalised service was the highlight.
Quick and efficient check in.nnThe bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was handy but the fridge is quite small so if you were staying overnight and wanted to put drinks, fruit, food to microwave it won't fit much in.nnThe rooms are a bit dated but it has everything you need.nnGreat value for money.
