My company held our Christmas Party at the Mount Erica Hotel last night.nnFrom the moment we arrived, we were greeted to a perfectly prepared private room and very welcoming staff.nnThe food was very delicious.nnFrom the starters, the Leek & Gruyère Croquettes were my favourite — they were packing so much flavour.nnFor mains, we had Rotisserie Chicken and Sirloin. The chicken was perfectly cooked — very juicy and oh so delicious! The Sirloin was very rare not a medium rare, as listed and a few of my colleagues couldn’t eat it at all. I was fine with it, but could definitely see why some people were having issues with it. If it was cooked to medium rare, as advertised, it would’ve been a hit.nnThere was chips, which was just perfect too.nnThe dessert was insane — Chocolate Mouse. It was perfect and not too rich. It was the only thing I took a photo of.nnAll throughout the evening, the service was outstanding. There were two staff members, who looked after us, and a whole army of staff during service time. Every single person was really friendly, very professional, and just enjoyable to be around.nnWe had a fantastic night! I’d definitely recommend Mount Erica Hotel both as a dinner venue and as a private party location.
Came here for steak night and luckily got in with it a booking. Place was absolutely packed and buzzing! Food was amazing. Definitely coming back.
Came here for a Saturday lunch in this popular venue. The place was packed but the service was great. The stand out was the chorizo croquettes…I’d give them a 5/5 and eat 10 of them if I could.
The Mount Erica Hotel has that boujee pub energy — packed with locals and buzzing with atmosphere. Came here for a feed and a few drinks, and first thing to note… it’s bloody expensive.nnOrdered the chicken schnitzel, which came with a horseradish-style slaw that absolutely blasted up the nostrils — think wasabi vibes. The schnitzel itself was cooked really well and honestly enjoyable, but the slaw just wasn’t for me though I get why it’s popular with others.nnAlso tried the calamari, which was pretty standard — nothing amazing but decent with the dipping sauce. The salad it came with looked a little tired, but I usually skip that anyway.nnChips were solid, not standout, but did the job with a bit of mayo or ketchup. The beef tartare was actually quite decent — yolk and Tabasco really helped bring out the flavour.nnOverall, doing quality pub food with a slightly upscale twist. If I was rating the schnitty alone, I’d give it a 4/5. The rest of the food sat around the 3.5/5 mark. Big props to the kitchen though — food came out fast despite a full house.
I had one of the best Tuesday steak Sirloin nights in Melbourne at Mount Eric Hotel. I ordered a medium-rare steak, and it was cooked exactly how I wanted—crispy on the outside and perfectly medium-rare inside. The taste was fantastic, and I have to give credit to the chefs for their excellent work. The chips were equally impressive, fresh, and cooked in clean oil, which made a big difference.nnSpecial shoutout to Katie, who took our order. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was vibrant, packed with people, and had such lovely vibes.nnHighly recommend this spot for a great steak night!nnThank you
