Shop run by old Japanese couple selling an interesting range of sashimi to take away or eat at one of the tables. Delicious fish not available elsewhere. Allow extra time for them to prepare.

What an absolute gem. If you have been to Tokyo this place would remind you of a typical shop front restaurant. Sushimi is amazing fresh straight from the freezer. Old couple run the place and are quirky in their Japanese traditions. Lots of photos splashed over the shop of Japan and many books on offer. Best Japanese experience and sushimi in Melbourne

Has been visited here countless time. Sashimi is really fresh and delicious. Have to wait around 20 min if many people order at the same time. It's small place so 1-4 people will be the best to have meal here. Friendly service (most of times) but they may in bad mood sometimes.. However, the parking spot is very limited as it's just next to the famous chapel street.

Run by elderly japanese couple who serve sashimi fare. Seafood is prepackaged n priced accordingly. Select what you like and they will slice it up n present. Long waiting times
