Love having a legit small venue music and pizza bar in Newtown. Have seen several shows here, and this place just hits the mark for me. Good amount of personality, friendly bar staff, and I love the pinball machine. The several bands and DJs I have seen here sound good, and it's just a nice place to catch a show. Food is ok!
Came to check out the live music on Wednesday, ordered the pepperoni pizza and both delivered, would definitely visit again
Feb 2025: just like the other reviews. Cool place. Friendly locals. Pro tip, order a double and cheaper than 2 cocktails. Didn't try food.nLots of homeless in the area, but I didn't see a lot of panhandling. They're just there.
Best little bar music bar in the hood.nAwesome staff, delicious pizza, good tunes, great atmosphere, fantastic beers.
Bar is what it says on the tin. It's a gig venue and the atmosphere lines up to that. Great range of craft beers available. They were changing over menus so a number of the items weren't available however, their main stay of pizzas were. Getting a very generous pizza for $15 on a Friday night is superb value on the fringe of the city
