Story

For over 100 years our place here in Te Aro, Wellington, has been a favourite meeting place for locals. We love being a part of the community and we are ready to throw in the hard yards to make sure everyone who visits us has a great experience. The Cross has something for everyone - have a look around and choose the perfect spot to suit your mood. Each area has been designed to create a different experience, a different ambience. We went for the two for one stonegrills and it was more fun than expected. The vegetarian options weren't great (tofu overly marinated and salty) but the meat was spot on. Great service. Very family friendly and vegan friendly place. The beetroot juice latte was thumbs up. We would love to come back for brunch.

Great food, friendly service, good atmosphere. The steak was cooked to perfection, cops and salad ok. Vi did not sample the desserts but they looked very nice with generous portion sizes. Would go again.

Awesome experience. Diet requirements meant I had to make many tweaks to the main that I wanted but they were very happy to do it and didn't charge any extra. Very happy with my meal here. Great atmosphere too.

A great stop and a hip atmosphere. This bar was the place to be during happy hour and had live music going. The Poke bowls were very good too.

Absolutely love this place. Has a great vibe day and night. The outside area is really nice out back, there's lots of awesome gigs and events here, and the staff are always great. Lots of good vegan cabinet and menu options, and the menu changes seasonally which definitely keeps me coming back!
