Servers are very kind and friendly. Variety of food from chicken sambal to large ribs. I like especially the scotch fillet - medium rare is just amazing. Food was served very timely as well. The restaurant has a bar with many choices of drinks to order from even for the non alcoholic beverages. Restaurant was quite busy, full of locals after work. Good for both large and small group of people. Maybe not recommended for people who prefer some quietness.

My friends and I had a completely unsatisfactory experience in this once excellent bar last night. The dockets for four of the six meals we ordered were never even sent to the kitchen. Despite seeing a table with six people and only two meals, none of the staff thought to inquire into whether something might have gone wrong with the ordering process. This is basic customer service. In the end, two-thirds of our dinner party left without a meal. I would not recommend this place.

My friends and I were very disappointed with our recent experience, especially given we enjoyed Hotel Bristol in the past. I asked for a gluten free falafel burger. It wasn’t until 30 minutes after I ordered that a waitress informed me I could not have the falafel burger as it wasn’t gluten free. I was able to choose out of two burgers on their extensive list. When my meal finally arrived, the four other people at my table were left waiting while the staff stood around chatting. When we advised staff we had missed the start of a show due to the wait time for food, the manager was unapologetic to say the least, despite the fact the orders had never even been printed. We used to be frequent customers but unfortunately will not be coming here again.

I sat a couple of hours on the terrace for drinks and enjoyed the location, The view at Cuba Street is very entertaining. The staff was so-so, when I asked for the wifi code, they referred me to the wall inside and said 'can't you use the public wifi?".

Nice pub grub dinner, good counter service, jugs on special. Altogether a great experience + they're in the entertainment book and no credit card surcharges.
