Stumbled upon this place while looking for a cheap lunch spot. Found that hey have a good lunch special for $12 so we decided to give it a shot. So glad we did. I ordered a pork chop with mash (potatoes) and a side salad for $12 and a $10 jug (split 3 ways). Talk about an amazing deal for a meal that would have easily cost me $30. I can't rave enough about my meal. Not sure who the chef was that day but my pork chop was cooked to absolute perfection and my mash was nice and creamy. Only reasons I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because the service wasn't anything spectacular and the second time I payed them a visit and I order the same dish, it wasn't nearly as good 😞. Otherwise I would recommend it.

Good, cheap beer and a nice place with pool tables. Had to knock a star off because there was some difficulties with staff on St.Pads night, but other than that, really fun.

Must have ID to be in this pub, no signage anywhere or warning... only half our group was Id's after we had already ordered and paid for food. We were told to wait for the manager to talk to them. As no one carries around their passport for lunch half our group was asked to leave, we asked for a refund on our meals so we could all leave and was told no because they had already started cooking. The manager was rude and loudly announced we could take our meals to go (we ordered steak). We never received our drinks but managed to get a refund on that at least. Wouldn't mind but they weren't busy and being so rude was completely unnecessary. Eating steak on the street with no cutlery? Class -_- Put a sign up at least. Not hard. Waste of money.

A good authentic looking Irish bar. $10 jugs are a bargain and I had the pie which was lovely. A deal on 2 for 1 pies made it all the better!
