Basque is a rooftop craft beer and tapas bar with a huge range of sangria. Work your way through our extensive tapas and sangria menus in the cosy inside area or upstairs on the roof overlooking vibrant Courtenay Place! A haven away from the masses. Now open for brunch Friday to Sunday too.

Great staff, friendly service. The roof top bar is laid back and relaxing. The perfect spot for some sangria and tapas.

Just dropped in on Waitangi day afternoon with a group of 6. We were made to feel very welcome. Nice food and a great beer.

Really good value for money. Some of the food is great, some is average to good. Another bar with great beers in Wellington. Also loads of sangria to try. Upstairs bar overlooks Courtenay Place.

Famous for its rooftop bar and sangria jugs ($15 on a Thursday!), this place is a great little watering hole right time, right weather. It overlooks the street and the wooden benches and cosy decor mean it's still sheltered and warm, even in Wellington. It does get busy peak times so don't miss out on a sunny spot!
