Mocha Jo's Burger Bar

Glen Waverley is an underrated food hub, and popular food haunt Mocha Jo's have opened a burger joint in the back.  I had fried chicken burger and onion rings. The fried chicken burger was very juicy and moist, which is a HUGE plus. Dry fried chicken is the worst so this was great. Onion rings were crispy and well seasoned.  If you like fried waffles, smores and soft serve there are sweet options for you. My favourite was the soft serve but I am partial to the stuff.

Okay so I’m making this rewview as constructive feedback for what I once thought was the greatest burger joint in Melbourne. When the Mocha Joe burger bar opened it was super busy and the quality of the burgers were 10/10. Today after about a year from my last visit I with my girlfriend decided to eat the greatest burgers. Unfortunately we were severely let down. 1. Burger patty was either not fresh or over cooked as it was dry 2. I couldn’t taste the sauce 3. The burger patty size reduced dramatically to where there was a 1.5cm circumfrence of just bun around the patty 4. The bun tasted old Also, it looked as though the grooves in between the timber table had never been cleaned. Truly disgusting. Hopefully Mocha Joes sees this, because they were once the best.

Premium wagyu beef burgers with the options to build your own!! Adding maple bacon was a winner and their sweet potato fries are boss.
