We’ve been loyal to the waffles and crepes for years because it is epic and loaded and the perfect way to end dinner. But we finally sat down for a proper dinner and it did not disappoint. We had the atlantic salmon and platter that has ribs, chicken wings, chips, coleslaw and more. There were plenty of items on the menu, great for ever tastebud. Its definetly an iconic spot in Glen Waverley!

Had to find somewhere whilst waiting for my father to finish an appointment. Spent a relaxed 2.5hours in here, never felt rushed or pressured to leave. Of course had a couple of beautiful hot drinks, cappuccino was made extra hot o always request, temperature was perfect, meant didn’t have to skull down my drink. As for food, grilled octopus looks amazing, however ended up going for the gluten free option on the very cheesy mushroom dish with enoki. A very filling and flavoursome treat and very reasonably priced.  I’d be back again more regularly if I didn’t live so far away.  Thank you

Had dinner at Piatella Cafe Bar in Glen Waverley and was genuinely impressed!nnThe Mediterranean Lamb Shanks were amazing — not one, but two huge lamb shanks served in a rich red wine tomato sauce. The meat was so tender it just fell off the bone, and the sweet potato and polenta mash underneath soaked up all that beautiful sauce. Absolutely hearty and full of flavour.nnThe Rib Eye Steak was also excellent — a big 400g grass-fed cut, perfectly grilled on the outside and juicy inside. The Café de Paris butter melted over it beautifully, and the roasted veggies on the side were fresh and well seasoned.nnWe finished with a Tiramisu, which was creamy, light, and came with a generous bowl of whipped cream — such a nice touch!nnPortions here are huge, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Definitely a great spot for a solid Western meal in the Glen Waverley area. Will come back again for sure!

Piatella Cafe Bar is a true OG — you honestly can’t go wrong here.nnWe ordered the Nutella hot chocolate, mocha, chicken parma and linguine carbonara, and everything hit the spot. Perfect place for an easy, no-stress weekend meal.nnThe real standout though? The caramel waffles with whipped cream — absolutely unforgettable.nnBonus points for being open till late, which makes it even better for after-dinner cravings.nHighly recommend and will definitely be back!

I think what I love the most about visiting this place is how much I feel so homey with the place. Its design and interior wooden theme as well as spacey area but not noisy and crowded make me feel so comfy to write with my laptop or have a one on one convo with my friend.nnPlus, I really like their waffles  ice cream+pecans so tastyy as well as their beef raguuu omg such a big and tender meeattt and seafood pasta nnDef will come back and try their food again!
