Story

Originally located amongst the earthy brick walls of the Poplar Lanes in the city, you will now find Mitchelli’s at the Tannery, an old industrial site in Woolston that is today home to a boutique shopping emporium.

Having salvaged the stairs, awnings and artwork from the old site, it maintains the look and ambiance that made the original so special.

Mitchelli’s has an exciting breakfast menu that runs until 2pm daily, as well as offering a cabinet full of tasty lunch treats, pastas, pizza, gelato, wine, beer and, of course, good coffee.

Its facilities also include a private meeting room.

This place has a friendly, bustling atmosphere. It has a classic cafe vibe, but a little fancier and bigger. There’s plenty of seating, so there’s a good chance you’ll get a table even when it’s busy.nnAwesome breakfast options and as per photos can attest to generous portions. Big breakfasts available, cooked perfectly. If you’re a bacon person you should pop in and try it, I’m not a big bacon guy but it was thick, not greasy and had great flavour. I got the El grande… the El something, the big cooked breakfast. Real yum.nnPerfect coffee toonnWill return, friendly staff and fast service.

That’s one fab breakfast! Perfectly poached eggs and the coffee’s next level. Friendly staff, nice vibe, power outlets. Ordered a second coffee and it came with a smile.

A very beautiful venue! Quiet in the morning at work days, so really a good place to for a breakfast before work.

First timer, place was pretty busy when we got there, it must be really popular! You had to wait for the staff to find a table for you, breakfast options were a lot, big servings & delicious, coffee was great as well! Staffs were pretty quick, attentive & friendly! Highly recommended! :
