Lots of good reviews here already but I feel compelled to pile on top. The space is awesome - huge square open ceiling and massive outdoor garden so heaps of different options depending on your mood and group size. I went for the table closest to the mechanical rocking horse. Staff - energetic and genuine. Interesting quirk, kitchen staff serve the food - I like the ownership aspect of that. Food, excellent, I had the mushroom Benedict with wait for it... kale chips... and hash browns- no pesky bread taking up space on this plate. I woke up vaguely on the wrong side of the bed this morning, all sorted now - thanks C1e

Was a cool place to visit. The service was quick and the ambience was bustling. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because they had the music on too loud, so it was hard to hear what I was trying to say to my friend. Either than it was a cool place to visit.

Has great atmosphere and good coffee. Was let down by the fruit salad food order that a very small monkey would have had issue with. Fruit was a little ripe and consisted of 1 and half strawberries, a few berries and some sliced kiwi fruit to make it look more than it was, having been delivered on a unfeasibly large plate. When we provided some gentle feedback on the quality of the dish, it was met with the vacant charm of a village idiot. Not sure I’ll go back. Plenty other good coffee places.

Interesting, cool vibe, nice wait staff and service. The food even looked good. That's where the positive ended. My son and I ordered the breakfast burger and my partner ordered pulled pork nachos, food came out looking good. We were hungry and looking forward to it. Nachos were bland, flavorless beige-grey cudge. Is it just me, or do you expect some spice when you order nachos? The breakfast burgers looked good, but that's all they did. The patties were so bland and cooked hard dry. Some fat with the meat might have made a little difference, but even that was cooked out. The relish/sauce should have helped but was equally flavorless. I guess the special feat achieved here was in removing all flavour from the ingredients before serving. Hunger won out on the day, so with some salt and pepper we managed to eat most of our food. At something around $70 I don't think we'll be giving this place a second chance. Plenty of other choices nearby

Very cool coffee shop in the middle of downtown Christchurch. Coffee beverages are a bit pricey for the size of them, but they are quality. The atmosphere inside the coffee shop is very unique.
