Perfect Spot for Breakfast or Brunch!nnUnknown Chapter has the ideal balance of great food, coffee, and atmosphere. The vibe is relaxed, with plants hanging from the ceiling that give it a fresh, almost jungle-like feel.nnTheir menu is extensive, with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians, alongside freshly made sandwiches and hot dishes. They roast their own coffee in-house, which really shines through in the beautiful soy flat white – smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced.nnWe ordered the halloumi sandwich, freshly toasted, paired with a large soy flat white. It was so good we ended up ordering it again to share! Hot food and hot coffee – the ultimate brunch combination.nnIt’s a buzzing spot that fills up quickly, but with super-fast service and walk-ins welcome, it’s absolutely worth the visit.

A very tasty brunch spot in the city centre. There aren’t many breakfast options around, but this one is definitely a great choice. I loved their French toast and eggs benedict with crispy bacon — really memorable. The place gets very busy, so it can be quite noisy inside. Sitting outside by the street might be a better choice. Also, the ventilation could be improved as there was quite a strong cooking smell indoors.

Amazing avo toast with seriously surprising coffee! The taste of coffee was really smooth, match well with the cap. Please try avo toastnn+ I tried their halloumi avo salad, and it was the best salad I’ve ever had. The coffee has been consistently great since my first visit. Such a good spot to just drop by.

We came here for breakfast before our flight, after a 12 day trip across the country. We ordered smaller items, such as the banana bread, scones, chicken roll and a couple of coffees.nnEvery item was well done and felt like it was made with love. Eating here made us less unhappy about leaving the country and ending our amazing trip.nnThank you for the wonderful meal.

This is absolutely the best coffee restaurant in Christchurch or even the whole of New Zealand. Great menu, amazing coffee and a fantastic atmosphere. Service is so fast that's gonna make you confused how they do it.nCan be a bit nosy when busy, but that's the vibe. Plus plenty of seats outside where you can still enjoy a great time.nThey have speciality coffee bags from all around that you can buy beans or ask them to grind for you too.nHonestly 10/10. I keep coming back to this place everytime I can.
