I walked past this place to Cafe Stir because I didn't like the look as much. After paying the Stir Cafe staff walked me back to Coffee Lovers to get my coffee made because their staff were busy in the kitchen and they were owned by the same people. The grumpy, bordering on rude, chap behind the counter made me a very poor flat white that was over heated and bitter. If I hadn't been in a hurry I would have asked for my money back. This street attracts a lot of tourists and there are many places in Chch to get good coffee - unfortunately this is not one of them.

Visited three times this week - consistently good coffee and friendly service. Outdoor seating plus quiet upstairs seating.
