Huge thanks to Dee Jay and Melbourne Eastern Taxis! A group of 4 of us were attending a wedding in Sherbrooke and staying around 20 mins away. The day before the wedding, our transport fell through and I reached out to Melb Eastern Taxis to book our trip home. Dee Jay called me a couple of hours after I made the booking online to provide a quote and confirm our trip details. He was friendly, informative, and patient, and I sent through a deposit. We confirmed the booking and the next evening received an ETA from Dee Jay when he was on his way to pick us up from the venue. The taxi was clean and looked great, Dee Jay was lovely to talk to and very knowledgeable about the area. He drove very safely in difficult conditions fog/rain/night time on winding roads and we got home happily and safely! Again, massive thanks to Dee Jay, I will be recommending your service to my friends and will definitely use Melb Eastern Taxis again when I’m next in the area!
I care for a middle aged gentleman with dementia, we usually have a car to take him out as his routine and about but today we didn't. So last minute I called up this taxi service Melbourne Eastern Taxis to see if they could help us. We had driver Adam Laz and he went above and beyond for us. Fantastic driver with the best customer service. Laz has made our day! Thank you so much for the speedy pick up arrived in minutes! and amazing, caring experience. Would give more stars if possible! Thank you to this service and Laz!
Dee Jay went to pick up my mother from the airport, everything went so smoothly. I will use his services again.
Avoid. Poor form. Our family booked a taxi, explaining it was for an important appointment, but they were a no show. We agreed for the time to be brought forward because they wanted to finish at a given time. We agreed, but they didn’t turn up. No courtesy call enabling us to chase other options. We rang to follow up, but no answer, no call-back, certainly no apology. We missed our appointment so lost a day. Companies like these will probably go bust, then blame Uber. But we tried to offer locals the business.
I have a daughter with a disability and have been using eastern taxis for about 5 years now. Without their ongoing support my daughter would not be able to attend her day programs as she is not capable to catch public transport and I work full time. Quite often we need to chat he pick up and drop off requests and eastern taxis always accomodate these changes. Also, they always communicate with me if they are running a little late to a job - mostly phone me directly or sometimes they text me. I highly recommend this service.
A very early pickup 3am was ordered to take us to Tullamarine. Communication was very good, taxi arrived on time was clean and journey very pleasant.
