I called and made a booking did not use app. I received a confirmation text with correct pick up address. The driver call from a old address I use with the app over a year ago which was not the confirmed pickup address in text. I called up service was terrible I kept my calm explained the situation to three different people and was eventually told I was getting a priority booking rebooked after I told them that I did not want a taxi and promptly hung up on13cabs never again. Service is absolutely
The automated voice activated bookings are terrible, not once has this service gotten a name correct when booking for my patrons, sometimes coming up with random and quite offensive words for pickups. Notably a recent pickup I'd arranged for a disabled guest in a wheelchair, the first cab picked up a completely different person and marked that they had picked up the guest when he was waiting out front, the second time the driver never showed and had marked the trip as completed and the third after almost an hour of waiting showed up and was incredibly rude to the customer when I was trying to assist them into the car. If you want to be treated well and ensure your driver actually rocks up do yourself a favour and just book an uber, chances are it's cheaper too.
Disgraceful service. Do not book with these guys. We booked a taxi for a specific pick up time, when it did not come I contacted customer service and was told it was at least an hours wait and that it wasn’t possible to book for a set time. We were left hanging in the freezing cold and unable to get where we needed to on time. And they wonder why they are losing jobs to ride share services. Don’t offer a service if you cannot provide it.
PREBOOKED AN INFANT CAR SEAT & TOLD ON DAY OF PICKUP THEY CAN'T PROVIDE IT We were looking for a taxi company that could provide a car seat for us to take our infant to the airport. Called 13Cabs and the agent said they could, and we made a reservation a week ahead of time for a taxi with the appropriately sized car seat. Then we got a call 5 minutes before the taxi arrived telling us that they don't provide car seats in Victoria, only in NSW. That would be fine if they had told us up front, but the company should not be taking reservations for services they cannot provide! As it was we had no time to make alternate arrangements and had to take the cab to the airport without a car seat.
For our disability organisation we ordered 3 maxi cabs to go out and return of about 30mins drive. 2 turned up and returned clients and staff ok. The 3rd was late picking us up in the morning to take us to our destination. On return we had 4 clients with disabilities and 3 staff to leave our destination at 12.15pm to take us back to our site. 8 calls later with taxi company telling us the booked taxi is 10 mins away and/or the booked taxi driver cancelled and they would put a priority order in. Still 2.30pm and no taxi. Clients hadn't eaten and one required meds. In the end our company had to Send a bus to pick us up. The operators were very helpful and polite but it was disappointing that the drivers could not keep their booking to pick us up. Extremely disappointed
Absolutely ridiculous company. You pre-book a cab, only for it to not show up! What's the point of booking if it doesn't reserve a car?!?! And the contact number is automated, so you can't even get through to a real person to ask the status!! What a joke of a company. No wonder everyone uses Uber! I would give - 5 stars if I could.
First taxi “accepted” my booking and then posted as “delivered” - and I never saw hide nor hair of said taxi. Second taxi arrived at a car park two doors down from my address. I happened to see taxi drive into car park, so walked to it. I gave the destination address as “Collins Street, Melbourne CBD” and was asked, “How do I get there?”. Unsurprisingly, I immediately got out, phoned my host to say I wouldn’t be coming to the dinner scheduled. How is it possible that anyone can hold a taxi licence, or be employed by a Taxi company, who cannot find Collins Street, Melbourne? What parallel universe are we living in???
Booked a 13 Cab premium today for a ride from Cheltenham to City. Inspite of paying extra for the premium service, the quality and hygiene of the cab was very poor. The cab has empty cans in the storage of the back seat doors. The cab smelled like garbage. Paid $74 for this ride. Uber usually costs me $55 for same distance and provides a better quality car. No wonder customers prefer uber to these gross cabs
Absolutely terrible service. Please do not book a taxi with 13 Cabs, you will be stressed and disappointed, and unfortunately they don't care! I booked a taxi to pick up my kids from Kinder about two hours in advance but ended up waiting for half an hour with no taxi coming, I was left wandering with my kids in the hot weather looking like lost items knowing not where to go. When I rang customer service was told drivers were busy and the operator quickly wrapped up the conversation, perhaps to avoid me venting my frustrations on her. I saw a Maxi Taxi from the same company dropping off passengers near where we were, I approached the driver and asked if he could take me home he said yes and dropped us home we ended up paying twice as much : . This means if it wasn't for that trip we would have waited even longer. I called customer service again to see if I can make a complaint about keeping my little kids in the hot weather and not warning me in advance that booking time is not guaranteed. The woman I spoke with in a rude way said that's how they work, no guarantee you will get a taxi on time, she went further and said there is nowhere to complain as it won't change anything from what she had told me. She was so rude, with no sympathy or no at least apology. Anyways lesson learned, haven't had a ride with them for ages, thought with UBA being on business they would have changed their attitude nut not. No wonder why UBA will keep thriving leaving them grouching everyday.
I booked for a wheelchair maxi cab & the driver was not satisfied with the $30 voucher even though the trip cost only $18. The driver did not want to wait for 5 min until dads bloods were taken & that's all the time it took. He wanted another $60 to get me back home to make it worth while. When the appointment finished at 12 noon I called 13cabs again & they said they would send a maxi cab as soon as possible however 5 hours later out cab never arrived after numerous phone calls. This company does not stand by their add. They clearly can't meet the needs of the elderly & the general population. I found the service was appalling & disgusting. I would never consider call 13cabs. Worst service.
