The nursing staff are very professional and polite. They have excellent nursing skills, always ready with a laugh and words of encouragement.
Don't bother with this practice. I was originally vaccinated here and am a patient when I asked them for a booster for my wife they refused, the excuse was we are not taking anymore patients we have only enough for them, well I did not get my booster there as it was a different vaccine not phizer so there is at least one extra We have a pandemic and Doctors are refusing vaccines. Need to inform QLD Health
Great team from front desk, who are efficient and helpful and work well together especially in the busy periods; to the GPs who are incredibly thorough and empathetic. Law abiding and ethical, I feel like I am always in a safe place and that my family is being Taken care of. The female doctors in particular are very popular and it can be hard to get in to see them, but this is not a negative in my eyes. It can be hard to find a regular Dr. who understands you and makes you feel like they really care. Well done, guys.
I was so impressed by the level of professionalism by all the staff. I walked in and was provided all the information I needed and the reception were happy to answer any questions I had. The wait time was minimal and the Doctors amazing! Not often do you find a medical centre where you feel like a person not a number! Highly recommend to anyone to come to this surgery!
Dr De Wet gave my ex wife a doctors certificate stating my son was unfit to come and stay at my place- quite interesting since she has never met me or seen where I live. A few weeks later a Queensland Courts psychologist advised that my son was more than fine to stay at my place as per usual. Absolutely disgusting a doctor could do this and how a doctor could be that manipulated by a patient. This place should be shut down!
Last Friday I had woken up severely ill. My husband suggested we go straight to the clinic as I was getting significantly worse. We arrived just after 8am, I didn't have an appointment but was prepared to wait to be seen. The receptionist I didn't get her name was great, she took me straight to the treatment room and said that Dr Kyaw would see me when he arrives. The nurse on duty checked on me a few times as I waited for the doctor. Dr Kyaw was so thorough with his assessment and sent me on for more tests and an injection to ease my nausea and dizziness. I could not fault my experience at Medicross Rothwell. The staff were very kind and patient and Dr Kyaw was very professional. Thank you all for your help last Friday.

My mother has just come home in shock at the "treatment" she just received. she went in to get a small piece of glass removed form her foot and has come back shaken from it. she was not informed that the doctor would be cutting her foot open WITHOUT numbing the area first or asked if she would be driving, as it was her right foot. He also made my mother who has an extremely bad back lay on her stomach to do the op. which is very painful for her. He cut in and my mother screamed and beg for him to stop. HE DID NOT! until he removed something which wasn't even the piece of glass. He than gave her anesthetic and left. my mother was left with a bleeding foot with only a band aid on it. The doctor did remark to the nurse later that he did go in deep. no aftercare given. no how to look after the wound or what pain relief to take what so ever was given ETC. My mother was just left to limp out the door on her own. unable to put a shoe on the wounded foot. I am extremely unhappy and upset at this treatment of her. I will be taking her to see a another doctor who can provided better service and looking after her until the wound has heeled, as its very painful for her and she is unable to deal with this pain from the wound and the pain from her other illness that were not taken into consideration before hand.
People recommended me to see one of the General Practitioners Dr Isabella Van Deer Steen and I always went there to meet her - She's really amazing and kind person. I have been living in Brisbane over five years however I never really found a General Practitioner as good as her. I highly recommend her.
I want to thank Dr Isabella Van der Steen and the nurse for removing my suspect mole. I was really worried and scared about the procedure, Isabella and the nurse were fantastic, they removed the mole, put in a couple of stitches and I didn't feel any pain. I want other scaredy cats to know that it is quick and painless. Love your work Medicross Rothwell :
