AMERICAN TOURISTS- it is very common place in Queensland, AU for the air conditioning to be turned off while you are out of your hotel for the day. Initially i wanted to give this place 1 star as i am from a cold area (New England- United States) and found it APPALLING that they would turn off the AC during the day, only for you to come back to a sweltering hotel room after running around the Great barrier reef all day.

Other than this atrocity (which i hear is normal), the hotel is super nice; near a bunch of nice restaurants and bars. Owners are very friendly. Umbrellas to go as needed. Also, the AC is WEAK AF in Queensland. Unlimited solar power but they still install sh*t AC units. It is what it is. Would stay here again

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Clean, good size 1 bedroom for 2/3 persons. Located at the quieter end of the street, which could be a blessing at the height of the season, 2 min walk onto beach and beautiful walk around headland.

Perfect location for beach and town activities. Hosts are anazing...very helpful and friendly. The extra touches such as umbrellas and chairs for the beach  made available just added to the experience.  We have no hesitation in recommending this place...thank you for looking after us so well.

It's located away from the noisy end of town. The apartments are not fully appointed, there's no self contained laundry and the kitchenette is very tiny. There's no elevator so if you have mobility issues, book a ground level room. The hosts, Fred and Ontonio (her name may be Antonio) are lovely people and keep the place spotless.
