Great pricing, equal to online. Loyalty card is worthwhile if you buy the same thing regularly. Lovely couple has run it for years and have a broad scope of animal knowledge.
We went to purchase a bale of hay and the lady working there was very rude and not clear with the prices. We ended up getting oaten hay and a bag was provided with it, not knowing there was an additional charge for it. When we went to pay she told us the bale was actually $26 and the bag was $15.90. When I asked just for the bale without the bag she said we had already used it and will not take it back. We were very appalled by this because it wasn't even purchased at that stage and was a simple change of mind. The bag was used for a mere 5 seconds. Extremely poor service we will not be back.
First time, last time shopping here. Last week my wife asked me to pick up some chicken feed for her but I didn’t have enough time to go to her regular store. Thought I’d go to Maroondah Produce as it was close to work. The lady that was working there was extremely rude. I had wandered through the store trying to find the right product from a photo my wife had sent me. She stood at the counter telling me I had to fix her up first. At this stage I didn’t even know what I needed to buy. I then found what I was looking for, went to pay for it and she tried to charge me more than the price that was on the shelf. She kept arguing with me until I insisted she go look at the price that was taped on. She stomped over and when she saw the price sign, she ripped it up. I didn’t even get an apology or explanation. She simply stated that’s not the price anymore and continues to charge me at the higher price. If my wife hadn’t needed the feed that day, I would have left without and gone to another store the following day. Very disappointing as it’s so convenient to shop here.
Great place they only thing is i need to pay and apologize for the dog snacks my dogs steels while i am shopping. lovely people and good old fashioned family running the business. I highly recommend them.
Just went in to buy oaten hay and for the third time, the lady was so rude. I've let it slide before, but her manner is just terrible. I was told quite rudley to get a trolley and told where it was....I couldn't get the bale, it was too heavy. I said thank you but I will go somewhere else to which she then said in a rude tone "I can help you" but I declined "no thank you". Never again will I purchase from here.
Good quality products at very reasonable prices. Friendly and knowledgeable service and assistance. Highly recommend a visit here if you have animals to care for.
