We have stayed here a number of times and found our latest stay this weekend the absolute best yet! This stay from booking, arriving and checking out was 10/10. Arni at the front reception was so helpful to any of our queries and we had! We can't wait to come back we had the best time and the room was extremely comfortable. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back.
A wonderful caring place to stay while visiting family in hospital. The accommodation is good. Beds very comfy. Staff very understanding and keen to help in anyway they could. COVID has def effected the ability to clean things as it once was. The balconies definitely need some attention. Not having regular housekeeping for long term occupants and can be hard to arrange at times.

The room is large and comfortable and has everything you need. The first night I had problems with the noise of the fridge and an external machine to the room, the next day I commented and they quickly changed my room, fine. The biggest problem was that nobody cleaned the room during the 7 days I was supposed to pay an extra for it. I was offered 2 clean towels as a favor, really? Not even anyone emptied the trash ... For these reasons I decided to find another Hotel for my next days.
We needed to be across the road the next morning so wanted a place to stay that was convenient. If we wanted to hang out in the city it wasn’t a bad option because there were plenty of trams that took us up there within 20 or so minutes. The place itself was clean and neat and had all the essentials. Our room was on the top floor and faced the main highway where outside was still audible, would recommend getting a room facing away from the highway. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast included was very average but for the price of the bed and breakfast it is value. It is also walking distance to Albert Park which affords a very nice view of the Melbourne skyline. Walk a little further and you will find The Formula 1 race track.
Room was really nice for its price range... Kitchen was fully equipped which was a plus. But I was surprised to find that except for the bedside lights not other lights were working.. not even in the bathroom, which was very odd. We didn't complain as we were there for a night and yes we checked all the switches. Other than that it was a nice hotel easily accessible...
Enjoyed our stay here very much. We were upgraded to a significantly better room for a bargain price, and our room was great. Nice views from the balcony, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and sofa. 2 slight downsides were that the bathroom was a little dark and the exhaust fan not very powerful, and there was no baking tray for the oven, but other than that the building and room were well looked after and in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful.
First time i have been to st kilda Mantra. The apartment looked nothing like the website. Absolutely disgusting. Not cleaned....hair on the sofa from previous visitors. Dust on the bedside tables. Rooms did not have a fresh or clean smell. $250 a night was a rip off. Cant say i would recommend the Mantra to angone.
Quiet close to tram stop, bottle shop with quicky mart 150 metres down the road turn right out front door. All day breakfast cafe next door. Rooms clean and comfy perfect for a couple of nights. Don't forget to use swipe card to operate lifts.
We stayed in the two bedroom apartment last night with a few of my friends, the staff were very helpful in upgrading our apartment to accommodate more people, and were helpful with checking in our friends when we weren't there. They also left a card and a bottle of wine in the hotel when we arrived back later that night for my birthday which was super sweet. Thankyou so much for making my birthday wonderful
