Stayed here on a work trip. Quite far out of the city and restaurants but surrounds are very pretty. When I checked in was only handed a piece of paper not give any information verbally about breakfast or check out times. I was given a disabled room which really should have been reserved for a guest who required one. The bathroom was very big as wheel chair friendly but no space for storage. Room itself had no other furniture such as desk or chair apart from the bed. Paid at front desk on check in pand never received a receipt or invoice on check out had to go back and ask. Won’t be staying again.
Excellent location with easy access to the central business district or St. Kilda beach. Nice size rooms. walking across the road is the Albert Park area. In-House restaurant. So breakfast daily and coffee shop does excellent coffee. For a late night, coffee or snack, the bar is open until 10:00 p.m. prices are reasonable.
Whilst the Pullman Albert Park is a little away from the city it’s close enough to take in all the sites. The peaceful park setting opposite allows for picturesque and peaceful walks.nnThe level of service has dramatically improved since our last conference stay in August and other than a few minor things at our conference the majority of our participants were extremely happy with the service, food and beverage.nnThe restaurant is a must and the food there is exceptional.nnOther than the bar closing early there isn’t much that we could fault this time.
This was our second stay at the property. We were pleasantly surprised to get a lovely room upgrade on check in, but the view was an alley and rooftop. The room was a great size though. The location was terrific with good access to public transport and a cheap uber ride away to main attractions. The one flaw is their housekeeping. No towels were left in the room, the rubbish wasn't emptied, room service tray left in the room and the bathroom had a decent amount of mould on the ceiling. In saying that, our concerns were actioned once we brought them to the attention of reception and we got complimentary parking and breakfast on one day.
Regular visitor to the Pullman at Albert Park, this hotel is where I take my staycations, as travel takes too long, I do not have the time.nnThis hotel is truly accommodating and the service you receive is second to none. They don't just facilitate your stay, but they CARE, and it is the little things. Small requests, notes, and special events are considered and handled wonderfully, the staff, from the concierge, to the wait staff, to the cleaning staff, are all exemplary models of considerate, polite, and welcoming customer service, and the attention to detail is wonderful.nnNote: the breakfast is ALWAYS worth it, whether your stay is a short one or a long one. Always. I have no intention of staying anywhere else for my staycations anytime soon. Thank you for having me!
