A true fresh experience on nice trail along the Yarra river. Incredible spot to see flying-foxes in natural conditions. At least 2 boathouse are available to rent a kayak or for a break with a tea or a cold bewerage. Many parkings along the trail allowing to focus on specific parts or to organize a pic nic. At least 2 public barbecue are also available close to the boathouse

One of Melbourne's best inner city reserves
This parkland reserve takes in the Yarra River and is very tranquil (except for the small area where the Eastern Freeway cuts through!)
Lots of wildlife, especially along the river banks.
Great place to run with your dogs (they'll appreciate a dip in the water during summer) and to simply stroll and enjoy.
