We stayed at Mackay Resort Motel for the Mackay Indigenous Carnival this weekend and couldn’t fault them. The beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept on at a hotel, all employees were so lovely & helpful including the cleaners. The rooms were cleanly & well presented. They are right around the corner from IGA which is open 24/7 as well which was really helpful for us. Highly recommend
The owners here went above and beyond to help me out during an emergency situation after getting stuck outside of town late one evening. I cannot recommend highly enough. The room was great, comfy beds, service was beyond great. I will be back, huge thanks.
Lovely staff, so keen to help, was a nice experience after a long day travelling. The beds are amazing, the family room is more than adequate. Two tvs, one for the kids, free access to pay tv, very clean facilities. Will stay again and highly recommend.
Super friendly staff welcoming our family into a comfy family room and everything was very clean. Being tired from the drive we got room service food and was absolutely delicious. Will come back again!
We've stayed here several times over the past 20 years, it's always been very solid, but this visit was the best. Greeted warmly when we arrived and checked in. We got some advice around where to eat, as their restaurant is closed on Saturday night, which worked nicely for us anyway. The rooms have been freshened up recently and are very pleasant. Great value for money and a perfect stop after a long day on the road.
