Absolutely divine. We were quite late getting there, as the movie went way over what we had thought, and we were the last to leave. The food was delicious, and the staff were amazing, they cranked up the music, and danced their way through their clean up, laughing and happy. Can't wait to go back!
This is the best ramen I have had in regional Australia. I had the black garlic tonkotsu and whilst not a very thick broth or particularly garlic-y, the flavour was strong and varied with springy noodles. Large portions and great service as well. I’ll be back!
Visited here for dinner and was excited after looking at the reviews. Was extremely disappointed by the experience and would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food took an hour to arrive and throughout the waiting time, we were asked 4-5 times whether we had ordered food or drinks. The staff did not seem to know how long the food would take either. Ordered salmon sashimi $7.80 for 6 pc, portion size was terribly small and was just small scraps. Photo attached for reference. Wasn’t too fresh either. We also ordered black tonkotsu ramen - the pork served with the ramen was hot on the outside but cold on the inside. While the portion size was decent, the taste was poor and the topping of red onion did not match the soup. Absolutely no hint of black garlic and all and left me wondering why I paid an extra dollar for it. The karaage chicken was mushy as well as and the batter was undercooked. Only redeeming factor was that the staff were lovely and extremely polite. But definitely would not visit again.
Very disappointed. The food is average, Ramen has not much taste and the soup is full of OIL! Sushi is just normal. Service is poor. Have waited an hour and they are not busy at all.
OMGoodness Sushi at its best in Mackay just wait time was a little too long but good Sushi takes time
Nice food but it came out at random times. Was there for 45 minutes before we got any drinks, even then they were not all there. Took an hour and a half before all the food came out. Usually really good service here. But definitely not this time.
Ordered 4 meals took 30 min for one meal to come out another 30 min passed and daughter had finished her meal. I cancelled rest of order and left as we go out to eat as a family not individually. Food is good service was poor
A true japanese restraunt. Perfect presentation. Delicious authentic food. Good service.
Busy holiday times I guess their sushi bar was closed so couldnt order any sushi or bun bao. Had ramen and combination seafood teppanyaki. Ramen was ok but combination seafood teppanyaki came out 1.5hr after we ordered and it was really disappointing. It looked like a simple stir fry that might take 10-20mins to cook if anything and tasted like one. Paid $28.80 for a tiny plate and it had few pieces of calamari and prawns, tiny pieces of fish cake and some cabbage and that was it. For a price and time taken i expected something more. Don’t think I will be returning..
Found this lil gem 8 months ago and travel 2 & 1/2 hours to eat at Bings at least once a month. The fresh sushi/sashimi from the chef is always my go to, along with other japanese delights such as ramen or gyoza. It is carefully prepared and tastes as good as it looks the service is always warm and friendly and for an asian inspired drink, they have a great range of bubble teas pick up from next door or for an alcoholic beverage I recommend trying the plum wine. BINGS
