We choose this place to celebrate our life!nWe are from Gold Coast end we’re in Mackay for a friends funeral.nnWe decided to have an amazing food experience that reminds us of our family gatherings as we live far from our families outside of Australia. Best choice ever!nAbsolutely amazing!nFood was really yummy, service highly qualified and the environment amazing!nReally recommend!
Very nice, had Spaghetti and Gamberi Prawns for lunch, super tasty. Service was very good and meals came out fast
We had the worst experience at Sorbellos yesterday. There was a WORM in my Spagetti chilly prawns. When we brought it to their attention, the owner/manager old looking guy returned with the same plate, downplaying the issue. While I understand mistakes happen, the handling of the situation was disappointing. He was mentioning that the WORM was in the garnish and it’s okay to eat????? SERIOUSLY????? I was about to vomit. nnOther than that the risotto chicken Marsala was looking like dog food. Disgusting looking. I have attached video as proof.nnWe also ordered lamb pizza but it was alright and the customer service from other staff was also alright.nnWe can understand that these are extreme situations yet, well-established restaurants like this should know how to manage these types of issues- not returning with the same plate asking to eat it. Common sense???? Food hygiene????nnAlso on the side note, I saw in the bill that they didn’t charge for the spaghetti and the two drinks we ordered. Didn’t mentioned that to us taking the responsibility, we just saw this after leaving the restaurantnnNever ever recommend this restaurant to anyone…. worst ever attitudes and worst in Mackay
This dish in the picture is a large Spaghetti Bolognese and it was certainly a large portion as my wife had the regular and the difference in size is very noticeable. The quality of food was very good but not the best and delivered to our table in good time. We also had a Garlic Bread starter no photo and that was very nice too.nnThe service was polite and friendly with zero faults there however the restaurant is in need of a revamp as it's a dull and dated which doesn't help the atmosphere.nnWe will definitely be going back again to try some of the seafood dishes they have on offer too.
Sorbellos is worth a visitnThe seafood gnocchi was delicious deceivingly filling, so if you’re not that hungry, try the smallnStaff are friendly and warm
