Tried Lune for the first time and enjoyed the overall experience. Setting foot into the store was like walking into something magical, where you can see pastry chefs making croissants in real time. The ambiance and service were great. We didn’t mind the queue as it moved quickly.nnWe grabbed a few croissants - Plain and Almond croissant, Pain au chocolat and lemon curd croffin. The highlight was the plain croissant as it was crispy, light and fluffy. It was absolutely divine, delicious and delectable, highly recommend the plain croissant. We found the almond croissant average.nOverall recommend the place
This looks like the original store or their central kitchen. Really love the design of the place and incredible croissants! Definitely a must when visiting Melbourne.nnYou may visit the local market nearby. The nearby neighborhood is fun to wonder around.
Visited Lune Croissanterie in Fitzroy, and it truly lived up to the hype.nThe croissants were flawless — buttery, crisp on the outside, and impossibly light inside. Every bite had that perfect balance of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth softness that only comes from real craftsmanship. I tried the classic butter croissant and a pain au chocolat, both absolutely amazing.nnThe space itself is modern and minimal, with an open kitchen where you can watch the bakers at work, which makes the experience even more special. The coffee was smooth and well-paired with the pastries, and the staff were friendly despite the busy crowd.nnThere’s often a line, but it moves quickly — and honestly, it’s worth every minute.nIf you’re in Melbourne and love pastry, Lune is a must-visit. It’s not just a bakery, it’s an experience.
Lune lived up to the hype. The Ham & Cheese is a literal masterclass in flaky, fluffy, crispy gold. The sausage roll had elite pastry and a killer hot honey drizzle, but the filling was a bit too mushy for me. Big win on the coffee, though; finally found a Melbourne brew that clears Sydney’s best. Expensive, but worth the treat.
Yeah. The pastry here is quite elite. Never had a croissant pastry like this place. Always come for the specials, especially the Golden Haze. That is top notch quality flavours. Of course any croissant is amazing, the cruffin with that tart lemon curd and the amazing vegemite scroll.
