Story

Cavallini artisan bakery, patisserie and espresso bar was opened in 2006 by Robert Coco and his wife, Natalie. They envisaged a place where people could enjoy the finest refreshments in an environment combining the best of cosmopolitan Melbourne with hints of a Parisian café or a bar in Florence. Everything at Cavallini is made using the best local and international ingredients by a team of specialist chefs hand picked by Robert. Our coffee is freshly roasted each week and served by award-winning baristas.

The best coffee around and by far the best macarons in Melbourne. All the pastries in fact are of superior quality and very yummy. My granddaughter loves the outside area with the toys (though they might update some of those) and is so warmly greeted by the friendly staff.

I have not been to Cavallini for a while as my wife and I like to try other cafés. We had been enjoying Cavallini from when it first opened and comings back is like slipping on your favorite pair of shoes, always good and comfortable. Roberto is always happy to greet you and never forgets your name. The coffee from Toby is first rate as is the service. It is the place to go to for great pastries, bread and italian inspired icecream. Coming back is like retuning home. Keep up the good work

Love the cakes, love the sandwiches and love the coffee. The only reason I don't go back every week is the calories, damn it!
