Long time favourite on Nth Fitzroy. Nothing much has changed over the years which I love. A lot more competition in the strip since they first opened - but the staff are friendly and engaging, the food is excellent, as is the coffee.

Cosy and familiar atmosphere with lots of delicious plates to choose from. Very nice apple crumble!

Unpretentious cafe in the "oh so very North Fitzroy" strip along St George's Road
Six of us hungry breakfasters dropped in at 10.30 am on a Saturday and we were immediately able to get comfortable seating at the large communal table!
Friendly service with coffees coming out quickly. There is a regular breakfast menu and a weekend breakfast menu.. lots to choose from!
Food quality was good and the place is fairly spacious and not too noisy.

I only had coffee and a mufin and it was okay, however a quiet place to sit without the doof doof music.
