Every bit as good as it was 20 years ago. A casalinga that you can't get enough of, and a lemon tart that you might wage war for. Sasha who runs/owns the place remains a wonderful and charismatic character who takes pride in keeping one of Melbourne's iconic eateries/bakeries at the top of its game. Absolutely love it.

What a fantastic bakery to visit. From their exotic breads to their wonderful cake creations made from fresh they have something there to impress everyone. The choices on their all day breakfast (from 7:00am to 6:00pm) are wonderful and creative and will satisfy every palate. The lemon tart is my favorite cake there with its beautiful texture and lemony tang its a winner. This is a must visit but be careful its always full!

One statement that sums up this cafe: Excellent quality food and very poor service. We have been visiting this cafe for many years yet the staff consistently have a bad attitude. A let down given the food quality is good.

I call ahead for sandwiches and the staff and great on the phone and always get the order right. Very generous cake servings. Tasty loaves.

As good as it gets. Pastries are the best in Melbourne. Fresh great value home style European food with exceptional coffee.
