Loop Project Space & Bar offers a unique cultural experience- come along to an ever-changing program of film screenings, audio visual performances, DJ based events, creative / tech / art forums or exhibitions. Alternatively, drop in for a casual beer or cocktail with friends- spaces can be reserved and alcove or lane way seating is also available.

Ace venue. Large projectors provide amazing ambience while also enabling their indie film nights (recommended). Standard drink prices ($8 for wine, $10 for beer) gender neutral bathrooms. No food but the pizza shop opposite closes late and sells single slices. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they are too quick collecting glasses as they collected mine and my friends drink before we were done.

A favourite city bar. Recently renovated yet still with grunge charm.  Check out the roof top bar or enjoy a quite drink on the lane. Rotating events check their calendar.

Friendly staff, cool space, interesting presentations/gigs (many of which are free) & theyll usually let you bring food in.
 Only lose a star 'cos they sometimes have to turn the music down in the small hours:) Upstairs cool too

I went here early evening, it wasn't very busy at all, one of the female bar staff came across really rude when ordering drinks and then when going up to ask another staff member a question about the food, they were chatting to the 'security' who decided to answer me instead and was very rude again... Would be understandable if they were dealing with an annoying customer but I was just trying to order drinks... Have been before and liked the place but this has completely put me off. Not worth the attitude, especially if you aren't giving any yourself! Wouldn't recommend.
