Always a great time here. The band's always have a classic rock sound with a new age kick. The venue is well shaped so there are layers which means most people can see really well. The staff are really quick at serving. They lady at the door is super lovely! She's always ready to help out as best she can and listen to your stories. Even the security guards were lovely. They had one of my favourite basic wines as their house wine which I was very happy about. Only thing is I wish they could take EFTPOS at the door. If you can take it at the bar why not at the door. I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard. Also it wouldn't hurt the bar staff to smile a little more. Keep up the good work.

Didn't matter what class you are. Been there 3 times and I enjoy the engery of the place. Good vibes and good music. I like it a bit rough. The Floor is to clean for my liking. But it's getting there. I like stepping over people and walking on glass. The rougher the better lolz

Have supported Cherry for the past 10+ years, great venue, amazing bands and what used to be great staff, but this has however changed. Staff bar and security are incredibly rude and witnessed some disgusting behaviour by both bar and security. As a world renowned Melbourne Rock Bar, Cherry should be ashamed of themselves that they have employed such people to represent them.

A fun night out with my South American friend with the exception of being ignored by the bar staff. The Cherry bar's reputation is being tarnished by one or two staff members that think they are 'too cool for school' and would prefer to be discriminatory rather than treat customers with respect.

Pretty run down bar that has a lot of charm. Great for live music.
