Lonsdale Street Cafe

I like the laid back atmosphere and outside seating. Service is fast and friendly. Coffee is decent as well. Most of the coffee shops here are competent so its hard to differentiate quality of the end product. Being a foreigner it would sure be nice to get a press or pour over somewhere.

Considering the number of cafes on Lonsdale Street I'd have to recommend going anywhere else. Service wasn't great, the coffee wasn't great which was surprising considering it's a Roastery and if you go down the road to the other Lonsdale cafe they can produce a better coffee from the same bean. Had the eggs on toast which was underwhelming, eggs were closer to grey than their normal yellow.

The single worst place I have ever eaten in Canberra. Save yourself the horrible experience. Only tables available were in the hot sun, no umbrellas. Moved to another table, which was dirty with plates because no one had bothered to clear it. Then got kicked off the table from management because apparently they were booked? Oh really? No reservation sign and dirty table would suggest otherwise. Then, when my friend ordered, they forgot to give him his change. So he had to line up again to ask for it. My toast was burnt, and the iced chai had no cream and wasn't stirred up, but they didn't supply spoons or straws. Seriously dissapointed. Huge lack of service. No one inquired as to how our meals were or thanked us. This place is a joke! Should have read the numerous negative reviews before we decided on this place. WE WON'T BE RETURNING. EVER.

Usual good brunch for the area. Good coffee. To much foam on the flat white. Yeah 1st world problem

Staff and friendly and helpful. Coffee was pretty bloody good. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Only bit I didn’t like. Was paying extra for avocado and only getting a real average serve at best. But other than that, definitely worth a visit.
