It’s disgusting that a charity shop is charging thousands of dollars for one used couch. So much for helping people on a low budget. Went in for a look at the new shop and was appalled at what they’re trying to charge for old junk. Lifeline in general should be shut down, it’s a disgrace.
You'll need a bit of time up your sleeve to get through it all. Furniture collection is okay. So many clothes. I did feel quality could be better and more size 16s!
Great store friendly staff. I take all my donations to this store and so does my family. I like to know my items are in such a great store. I like to see people benefiting from reasonably priced goods .
I shop at the Loganholme Superstore often. I'm dismayed that the sale of new furniture with definitely new sales prices is infiltrating the store. That's fine but there is no access to payment plans to purchase these expensive new products. I noticed a lounge suite that has been there for months was reduced around Christmas but increased in price again but it is starting to look like a second hand piece being damaged while on display. I was told there was room to move inon price
So I have been meaning to go to the Lifeline in Logan Central, but not being a local I got confused when I googled and ended up at this one. To start, the parking lot is uninviting and dirty- there was still water littered with rubbish all along the perimeter of the entry. The store is large so at first glance I assumed that I’d have some luck finding a few bargains. Women’s clothes were mostly all outdated and extremely overpriced. Most tops were from $5-$8 for a basic. Heavier jackets were $24-45. There was a standing mirror marked for $75! I could buy new for much cheaper. The baby/toy section was the most disappointing. The clothes and shoes were all very poor quality, and had zero toddler sizes which is what I was looking for. I’m hoping to have a better experience when I finally get to the right store.
I love this store ! I have found some treasures there . I hope they will reopen soon !
Very pleasantly surprised by the amount of beautiful and well priced evening gowns. Feel like the prices of clothing have become more reasonable recently, though there were still some oddly priced tickets here and there.
Sad to see them closing down, probably their last week til 16th July. All second hand goods, clothes etc are half price
I've changed my rating from 5 to 2. For years I would spend so much here and loved it, I would even tell people to come here. Recently the prices have gone through the roof. The used standing mirrors were $75 ?? I can find cheaper brand new modern ones for half that price. The bookshelves were all $80 with scratches and scuffs, chunks of paint missing and the couches were $400-500 even though they were clearly battered... whoever has taken over the store is overcharging. I walked out without buying a thing. That has never happened.
This lifeline has a massive selection to browse through and I always find something without fail. The prices are great and the stock is quality. Last few times I've been they had a few $2 tables for children's clothes and I picked up some amazing items for my daughter. Everyone who works there is lovely and it is well organised!
