Very poor performance from a company that obviously doesn’t need the business. 

I called the Shailer Park Poolwerx and attempted to make an appointment regarding a leaking pool filter. I was initially told that they don’t make appointment times and couldn’t say when they would be able to attend. There are no phone calls or information provided about when they can attend. I presume you’re just supposed to wait all day for them to get around to you. 

When I pressed them on this issue, due to having things like life to do, they then provided a time of 9am. I then made sure I was home 15 minutes early to make sure I was there for 9am. Two hours later no one had arrived. I rang their office number and the employee who was supposed to attend two hours early was still at their office. He advised he could be there in 10 minutes, which he was. 

Long story short, leak was found, cracked multi port valve. Poolwerx advice: 
A) Buy a whole new sand filtration system - $980
B) Buy a new multiport valve - $500 (about $500, couldn’t give an actual price and couldn’t advise if that price included fitting)

Had enough of this rubbish so looked online. Dads Pool Shop in Maroochydore - $210 delivered free by courier the next day. Problem sorted. The advice given over the phone was more than I had talking face to face with Poolwerx. 

I’d advise looking elsewhere for a company that operates with some professionalism.

I seriously cannot talk Poolwerx up enough. After having huge issues with a previous pool shop, who told us all sorts of things were wrong with our pool, we decided to seek another opinion. Poolwerx fixed our supposed $1600 problem for a simple callout fee, and have since given what we feel to be very honest and reliable advice.  Thank you so much. Keep up the good work!
