This is the best lodge I've stayed in recently! The rooms are brand new, and the bathroom facilities are top-notch – spotlessly clean. Plus, there's plenty of space, and the two queen-size beds are super comfortable. We drove from South Australia, and the staff were incredibly supportive, offering smooth check-in even outside regular hours. Much appreciated!nnThe only downside was not realizing when booking that there were lots of kids around. Their excited voices and the noise of buses waking me up 6am in the morning wasn't the most pleasant experience after a long 13-hour drive yesterday.
I was in a Group Cabin for a school camp here. I saw 2 dead moths on one bed, a daddy-long legs spider and multiple flies inside the room so i think that the accomodation should have done some extra work to make sure that the room was bug free. The bedding didn't look clean.The bathroom sink wasn't draining properly. I also didn't like the food that they provided, it didn't taste well and wasn't pleasant to eat. Overall, it's not too bad but improvements could definitely be made and I was unsatisfied.
New clean and tidy motel style rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location if you are in Canberra with children as the attractions are just down the road.
Extremely pleased with our stay here. Our double room was very well appointed with wonderful access and quiet. Perfect location next to Gold Creek for meals etc. We will definitely use this accommodation when next in Canberra.
I booked a disabled access triple room through AGODA. I arrived late. AGODA failed to send me my late check-in information so I couldn't get into my room. Agoda have been terrible - fobbing me off and won't refund my money. DON'T USE ANY OF THESE BOOKING SITES! AGODA is a scam and they apparently own or are associated with lots of other booking platforms.nnIf you are going to stay here, book directly. Make sure you arrive early. The after hours number goes to a security company which apparently had all my room information and access code but said they couldn't find it. We ended up in a random room the security guard swiped us into - it was a bunk bed dormitory. Without an access card we had no electricity - so no light, no heating. Reception didn't respond to my calls and there is no after hours number on the phone message. Nor do your calls get forwarded to anyone.nnThe hotel did respond to my complaints later and sent me information to show they had sent all the after hours check in information to Agoda and the security company, neither of which did what they were supposed to do and pass it on.nnSo book direct. It's the only way to ensure you will be helped if anything goes wrong or you are arriving late.
