Great location for school groups. There are a number of interesting places to visit by foot in the Gold Creek area. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food has been tasty, varied and plentiful. The rooms are older but well equipped with everything we need. The guest laundry has been useful on a number of occasions. Thanks Gold Creek!

food was great, service was good and rooms were decent.  the bed i was on was really creaky and literally nobody could sleep cause it was so loud, the tv works and our cold water for the shower didn’t work so we were stinky as for the entire trip, but it didn’t really matter because we didn’t stay for long anyway, and my friend’s bunk bed nearly broke so that was great. the food was really good and we were really happy with it. the ac in our room wouldn’t work so we were being boiled alive, especially at night, so we had to leave our window open. the place wasn’t as bad as a lot of the reviews said, but we also could’ve just gotten lucky. a bunch of people are saying that they got a really good view but the view we got was of some old and abandoned looking house. the mini fridge didn’t work but we only put a tiny cup of jelly and some prime in it so we didn’t really need it.

Here with school.  Rooms were fine....good heater. Air-conditioning.   Dinner was tasty but loved breakfast mote. Early December we came....wasn't run very well....scared of other school...very loud...would go back.Rooms: 3/5

horrible by the way if you're reading this before you go to camp or go to the place please this is true. there were worms in my friend's room. i had a daddy long legs spider and there were holes in the curtain also mold in the shower. the other school that was there had students throwing up because of the food. everyone that was there had such a sore stomach after eating the food and i didn't eat because i listened to the reviews. we got served cold custard that looked like porridge and there was blood on the wall and in my friends rooms bed. Bed bugs and since i am allergic to dust mites i got a huge rash from the bed. the place where we ate looked very fancy but the food was extremely disgusting and they didn't cook it properly which food poisoned people. the staff that worked there were so rude to me and yelled at me for something i didn't do. the next morning for breakfast we ate pancakes which were rock solid and had a wet moisture. No protection on the top bunk for the bunk bed nearly injured myself badly and i even fell off don't come here you could also hear whatever the heck is going on next door its weird please fix everything make it better. Window was also sticky taped NOT RECOMMENDED SHOW EVERYONE YOU CAN DO BETTER GOLD CREEK TOURIST RESORT TRY PUT MORE EFFORT INTO FOOD AND CLEANING

The location was convenient having attended a wedding out at Poacher’s Pantry however, I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation and wouldn’t stay here again. There were a number of issues with the room including: there was no smoke alarm, the toilet flush button was missing, every towel had black or cigarette stains on them, the taps were not secure, the curtains had holes in it so the light shone through, the shower had a missing shelf to hold amenities, and the bed was quite uncomfortable. It was definitely a ‘last resort’.

I went to this hotel for school camp and from the outside it looks fine. The food was amazing and the staff were nice, however when I got to the room it was horrible. There were holes in the wall and it was only covered by tape. The bunk beds weren’t secure and had duct tape to hold up the frames. One of the beds fell and broke. The lights wouldn’t work and to fix it we would have to put cardboard and our keys in the switch meaning we wouldn’t be able to take our keys out without losing light.

I went here for school camp like most people. Five words, do not go here WHATSOEVER. The food was great and the staff were friendly, by as soon as me and my other, 5 or so friends, stepped into the room, we knew we were going to be in a rough 2 nights. I cut myself on the wall twice, the water had black bits  not in a racist way lol  in it, so we had to limit use of it, the shower wall had a hole in it only covered up with unsecured cardboard, and several bugs around. We even found a spider in my friends bed. The middle bunk  which I was sleeping on  didn’t have railings, which I don’t mind, but it was a very long and hard fall, which is what i found out not too long after falling asleep. Several times.  this bit is edited from now on  I just realised some of the rooms were so good with like queen beds and stuff and then the other rooms are terrible according to some of my class so that didn’t make me feel any better about this place lmao

i came here for a school camp, let me say the kitchen is the best part, they have nice and yummy food there and they also have vegetarian and halal . but the rooms, are not the best. there's no rails on the bunk beds and the beds  are squeaky, the towels have black stains on them and the freezer door dosnt close for some rooms and for my room there was mould on the shower floor and the two didn't properly turn off, and there was only hot water. mybunkned had red stains on them and i don't know if it was paint or blood, but i didn't use the bedsheets. also there was a bug on my friends bed so i don't recommend sleeping in the sheets. if your on a school camp, you are not allowed in the pool most of the times. the location of this motel/hotel is excellent and suoer pretty scenery to look out on. this is a OK motel, and it's okay if ur staying there for 1 night but no more then 3, thanks for reading.

I went to the Gold Creek Tourist Resort for a school camp. Now on the outside of the motel it looks perfectly fine 2 floors,stairs,buffet that was all fine but when I got in, I put my bag down and cut my self on the wall later I cut myself another 2 times. I think that this motel is ok for school trips that are about 1-3 days but no longer  Rooms: Straight up horrid

Well, we, a family of 4 stayed in a room and yeh, not good and never again for the price we paid. Beds were like concrete and bed bugs I'm sure, was eaten whilst sleeping and left with big itchy sores, also the smallest shower I've personally ever been in and no cooking utensils whatsoever to heat meals up for kids. Otherwise the area was nice but just not the accommodation.
