Huge meaty rolls in the takeaway sushi roll platter. We were hoping for some specialty rolls mixed in but quality was good and they had a lot of fillings of mostly tinned tuna, smoked salmon, fried chicken, pickled veg, avocado, and California-type roll with crab stick. The octopus balls were decent and the Kara-age were really good (according to those who like fried chicken) but was a really small portion. The seaweed salad was tasty but the worst value - way too small for that price. Coming from west coast Canada, we have high standards but overall, this place scratched the sushi itch in Hobart.

The best Janpanese restaurant in Hobart. Nice food and services! The price is really acceptable! I will be a regular customer here.

Hi, people, I would like to rate this place 3 based on following reasons.
First thing first, this one is not run by Japanese, I have to say their taste is pretty Japanese, yet sadly, it is something made by someone who learned japanese cooking rather than real japanese. So if you are not fuzzy or maniac about Japanese food, it is good to give it a go. Otherwise, for example, Japanese can easily tell the differences.
Service is good, stuff are friendly, decoration is also Japanese alike, yet you can easily tell they try to build a Japan environment there from a foreigners` point of view.
Price, I will it is a bit higher than average.
Generally, it is a good place for casual eating if you are not a big fan of Japanese food.

Really like their sushi and their food is really amazing. Good environment and good services. Truly recommended!!! Love it
