Today working at the registers was a very abrupt lady by the name of Wendy. Prices marked on Plates were $1.75 and came through at $3.50. I notice Wendy roll her eyes and smirk in a condescending way when we were explaining the prices needed to be checked where the plates were located. Wendy didn’t call to get someone to check she dismissed us in a rude abrupt manner. I haven’t experienced rude customer service such as this in a very long time, it was shocking. This Kmart seem to ring through every time I call to speak with someone. I have photos of the plates where they were and the prices shown. Staff training maybe viable.
I bought a haircut kit here for 17bux,with combs, electric cutter etc. The price had not gone up in 30 years. I was replacing an older set. Good value.
Love what they have to offer however 2 weeks ago I purchased the wooden beads and a fake plant in roped pot. I have since been finding little critters/bugs on my coffee table and occasionally my walls. Wasn't initially sure if they were flying in but my sister purchased similar items yesterday and guess what? Same little critters in the bag with her items and woke this morning with a couple on her benchtop. They resemble little borers of some sort. Anyone else taken these critters home from kmart?

Love smart organisation. Fell in love and am still as I go back for the next trick to hang, store or clean up a cupboard, bedroom, kitchen etc. Love Love Love!
I have been trying to phone Kmart from 9am until 3pm without success. It answers and asks you to select a department but none of the options answer the call.
Bought a few clothes and love them and the price was very good. Cashier was a young man and so polite. Just love Kmart.
DENISE. my younger sister had some trouble scanning a discounted item at the self service checkout as she has autism. when we asked for help, an older lady Denise greeted us by rolling her eyes and sighing. snapping at my younger sister saying "You scan the yellow barcode, NOT the other one." so she cleared the cart and walked away. My sister tried again, same un discounted price. asked for help kindly again and she said, glaring at my sister "What did I say huh? I said Y. E. L. L. O. W BARCODE, not the other one. don't do it again, I won't help". my poor baby sister fell into tears into my arms, she struggles with things like this and I felt furious, but clearly I was the mature one and left it alone, unlike her. If you can, dodge Denise. Broke my heart
Everytime you go to this Kmart there shelves are bare. Even before the covid became an issue. They clearly have poor management who do not understand how to keep stock on the shelves. They're the only Kmart apart from the hub that is 40 minutes away so you would think they would have better standards!
Cheap but not bad. They have everything if you need something but money's tight. Range of products is mind boggling but you may have to compromise on quality. Little high end stuff other than brand names but if you can't find it at Kmart I would be surprised and if you can't afford it there , then going somewhere else will do you no good.
