In desperate need of some new shoes, a quick search online said this was the closest and perhaps only sports store near me. I have wide feet, so I need an E width shoe if I don't want consistent foot pain. I have worn ASICS Kayano in the past, but they wear out quickly and cost a premium. I had a chat with the helpful but not overbearing shop assistant and found some New balance in my size and half the price of the ASICS. They will wear out just as fast, but I can get a second pair with the money I saved. The store is large enough to run down the isle and get a good feel of your shoes before committing. I have now been wearing these new shoes every day and I have no regrets on my purchasing decisions. When these do wear out, I will be returning to Intersport for my next pair. The carpark is also pretty spacious. As I recently turned 44, and discovered owning New Balance sneakers is a common sign of being middle aged, I look back fondly on my memories in Intersport as I welcomed this new phase of my life. Great experience, would do again.
I can't say I like the customer service here when it's comes to basketballs. The manager insisted that the ball defalcation is normal from when purchased from 3 weeks ago . First inflation from the shop a week later lost pressure. I inflated to pressure so it was hard with hand 7 psi . But a week later defalcation again . Valve has been damaged from store due to incorrect inflation methods witnessed by me in store seeing a young fellow inflating balls with out correctly lubrication method that manger recommended with spit . He didn't want exchange ball for my daughters basketball practice . I highly don't recommend purchasing from this store .Also think it's dodgy manufacturing from India made .
I had a lovely experience here today. Walked and saw the biggest collection of bikes. There was a very friendly sales person who immediately took us to the right size bike. She was helpful and moved the bikes around we wanted to try. She pointed out the sale items.nThe bike was readily assembled and with a quick pump of the wheels, we paid with a smile and left happy. Thank Intersport. You will be our first stop in the future.
Looks like a good shop, great range. Quite departmental in staffing, greeted at the front but then no offer of help elsewhere despite browsing until I'd been there a while. Standard these days in a lot of shops. Nice and clean although the walkway is a bit crowded.
Not too bad just watch if u are buying a kits half product is not there and sales people haven’t a clue what they are selling
